WordPress Vulnerabilities Report — September 1st

iThemes Security has just released their first WordPress Vulnerability report for September, and there are a staggering 71 plugins listed this time around. What is more worrying is the number of extensions for popular plugins, like WooCommerce, Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms.

And what is even more worrying is the number that have not been fixed/patched yet, so you need to update the plugins which have been patched as soon as possible, and delete the ones that have not been patched as yet. You can read the full list here on iThemes Security’s website.

The good news was that there were no vulnerabilities in the WordPress core itself, and only one vulnerable theme, Woffice, which has already been patched, so if you are using it, update to the latest version as soon as possible, and you will be fine.
